Co-Founders

  Adrienne and I were born and reared in Indianapolis.  I became a CPA in 1971 and was involved in many businesses; I sold my CPA practice in 1991.  Adrienne became a Registered Nurse in 1976, she owned and operated a large child care center for 22 years.  We are both graduates of the School of Enlightment and Healing, San Diego, CA., we have taken extensive training in Spa treatments and management.

  In 1982 Adrienne and I visited the Mud Baths in Calistoga, CA for the first time.  Since that time we have traveled the United States, foreign countries and islands.  We were always seeking unusual places for relaxation and life's celebrations.  It was with that in mind that in March of 1997 we purchased “The Woods” our first ten acre parcel of what would become 29 acres.  Joined by my family Adrienne, John, Alex and a close group of employees, we began to develop the property.  Our vision is a large one that includes a Spa and Salon for individual visits or special groups.  It is a unique setting for business meetings and for life's celebrations (Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthday Parties, etc).  Our newest addition includes beautiful suites for overnight guests and a water suite for added enjoyment and more complex spa treatments.  We appreciate your interest and welcome you to enjoy a little piece of heaven.
